Ok, so I'm juuuussssst a bit behind. I've gotten a few reminders, so thanks for that. Bi-weekly is such a loose term, isn't it? Anyway, things are going well, can't complain. My girl is doing AMAZING at her job, 2 promotions already, cause she's a pro, and they'd be stupid not to promote her any chance they get. I mean...I'd give her all of my money. Just sayin...
The band is in a nice forward motion. The video is done and it looks ridiculous, but in a good way. I think everyone will enjoy it, and we had a blast making it. We're writing new songs, and planning to go into the studio soon. I'm pretty pumped for what this year has in store for us. Hopefully, MTV will share in our feelings. I mean, who doesn't want to be on tv? Of course, I really just wanted to be on Press Your Luck, but MTV will do, I guess.
My bass rig is pretty close to being perfect for me, now. Just gotta pick up a tuner on Saturday, and get my bass cleaned and repaired, and I'll be happy. Ideally, I need to get a backup bass, just in case. Nothing crazy, just dependable.
Oh, and duh, I'm gettin married! Then I'll be able to say "my wife", and I can't tell you how happy I'll be about that.
Work has been stupid busy, but that's good, just don't wanna be bored. A really nice guy got fired, and his replacement was here in a day and a half. That's shady, and even though I know he'll most likely never read this, Good luck, Neal.
Real quick, too. The writers strike....poo on that. A really good show won't be back, and half the stuff we watch won't be back on until fall. Way to screw the people. Jerkfaces!!!
That's all for now, kiddos. Be safe.
Peace, crackas!
